With the way NCC has been playing well and with Holmes not, I have to give it to NCC. If Holmes is able to get more than their two main guys in double figures it could be closer.

Potentially, Holmes has been bored. I look for this to be a very close game. Bolden and Chames are as good as it gets. McClendon is playing well...I don't see how anyone sees this as a 10+ point game.

I hope I am wrong but

NCC wins by 4

I'm have tempted to go check out this game when I get back into town. Is it a double header?

Yes

Holmes vs NCC right after

I wish I cared about any of the teams. It's more of the talent on the floor that appeals to me. Should both be good games.

.......

I just think NewCath is better, period. I see a win in the 8-12 point range for the Breds. If Chames can find a way to be active on the offensive glass against the terrific size of NewCath, it could soften the blow some. I'm sure Bolden will have a ton to try his darndest to keep Holmes in it.

If Holmes presses the WHOLE game on that college length floor and stays with it, no matter what, then halfway through the 3rd quarter the wheels will fall off the Breds. If Holmes plays a half court game, then I think NCC wins.

And IMO Hill has been looking better than Chames lately.

You don't run against Thoroughbreds, you just try to keep pace. ;)

IMO, the Breds can handle anything the Dawgs throw their way.

I agree with paNDA, these games to matter as much as they will in 2-3 weeks.

Will be interesting to see if Holmes throws some zone at the Breds.

The match ups:

Pangallo v McClendon

T Moeves v Bolden

Weyer v Housely

McDonald v Hill

Schulte v Chames

Newcath has a little more talent 1-5. Holmes is better 1-8.

Should be a great game. I'll be surprised if the final margin is around 10 (either way) like I've seen some predict.

I've noticed Bolden typically does not guard the fastest/quickest player on the opposing teams. It is usually McClendon. Is it to rest Bolden or is McClendon a better defender?

Chames has been sick but appears to be on the mend. Hopefully he's close to 100% for this one.

Comes down to foul shooting. If Holmes makes over 70% they win by 3, if not they lose by 5.
