Covington Catholic 87 Beechwood 42

Featured Replies

Walter, I was stunned when one of the Beechwood JV starters was announced as a Varsity Starter, as the young man started and played a lot of minutes during the JV game. Now was I upset that Beechwood had a kid who stated the JV game and then started the Varsity game? Not at all but it did tell me where the program at Beechwood is at, at the moment, that a player starts and plays a lot on the JV level (BTW CovCath JV blew out the Beechwood JV) and starts on the Varsity and played 20 minutes!

CVH 15 minutes

BO 11 minutes

B. Heppler 12 minutes

Schult 18 minutes

and from Beechwood own stats man, 27 TO's.....for Beechwood a team high and 34 points for CovCath off of Beechwood Turn Overs.

So CovCath almost scored more points off of Beechwood turnovers, than did Beechwood score points!

I got the Theoldguy fired up with my first post. Damn I'm good. I played for the Colonels in 3 different sports, I have 2 state rings, back when we played with class. Not Ruthsatz making gestures at the Bwood students.

VonHandorf, Flood, Young and Heppler will bring the class and pride back to CCH.

When was class over?

When was class over?

The day Ruthsatz was hired. If Tieman or Listerman were coaching and a player made gestures to the fans, he would have been at least suspended, if not kicked off the team. You don't have to worry much longer, because I would be very surprised if Ruthsatz is around next season.

Also, I was told by a Bwood parent that they did not press for one second in any of these games. Yes CCH has the superior team, even I got playing time against Bwood, but class is class and sadly it has been lost.

ALL HAIL RUTHSATZ!!!!!!

Well, this as become quite the thread........:lol2:

Cybersports had Nick playing just under 24 minutes.

I heard that Twitter is worse with the kids!

I saw the Beechwood/Holmes game. It would be hard not to look like you ran it up. The Tigers are as down as I have seen them in a while.

Who the heck cares. The young man is going for a school record. Beechwood needs to get their act together and get a team that can compete. CCH could have beaten them way way worse but didn't. All this junk about running up the score is a joke. It's a shame CCH even has to play Beechwood, because of the same district demands. Otherwise CCH would not have to bother with them. Could play a more competitive team and get something out of it. Such a mismatch is actually sad. CCH JV team could have beaten Beechwood. GET BETTER is the answer.

Don't shoot the messenger here, but I've had a couple coaches tell me the same thing about this game.

I wasn't there but other coaches are under the impression that the Colonels indeed ran the score up.

Can you let me know where he might end up, because I want to make sure to send my youngest to that school, so he can play for him. Great coach... best in NKY in my opinion.

I can believe that.

You wouldn't believe the silly things Walter tweets.
