Well, I honestly don't think so, except CovCath has prevented Holy Cross (where the current Beechwood was coaching at until this year) from going to the Ninth Region Tourney, when HC was considered the better team by many!

Can you let me know where he might end up, because I want to make sure to send my youngest to that school, so he can play for him. Great coach... best in NKY in my opinion.

Really a great family man, who is a true Catholic and follows his faith in God throughout his life! He loves teaching the game he loves to his players and I can't tell you how many former players have told me how they would have loved playing for Coach Ruthsatz!

Who the heck cares. The young man is going for a school record. Beechwood needs to get their act together and get a team that can compete. CCH could have beaten them way way worse but didn't. All this junk about running up the score is a joke. It's a shame CCH even has to play Beechwood' date=' because of the same district demands. Otherwise CCH would not have to bother with them. Could play a more competitive team and get something out of it. Such a mismatch is actually sad. [b']CCH JV team could have beaten Beechwood.[/b] GET BETTER is the answer.

Last year after the region tournament, he went out of his way to find Holmes' 3 seniors (before leaving probably 30 mins after the game ended) so he could tell them how well they played and wish them good luck at the state tournament.

 

Ennam also has a great story for his interaction with Scott at BDubs after that game.

 

He has also been great with allowing kids from other schools to use Covcath's gym to get some extra work in when his kids are in there to play pick up games.

CCH JV over Beechwood Varsity any day. I am saying this year.

I got the Theoldguy fired up with my first post. Damn I'm good. I played for the Colonels in 3 different sports, I have 2 state rings, back when we played with class. Not Ruthsatz making gestures at the Bwood students.

 

VonHandorf, Flood, Young and Heppler will bring the class and pride back to CCH.

I doubt the players hear much of what goes on outside the white lines during the game. And this does not justify it IF Ruthsatz did make gestures at them, but did you hear what the Beechwood section said? I fear I would be breaking a rule if I posted it in here.

 

Btw I know students always say stupid inappropriate things but one cheer from Beechwood in particular was far over the line.

I've seen some JV teams that could beat a varsity team or two, but it is rare.

The day Ruthsatz was hired. If Tieman or Listerman were coaching and a player made gestures to the fans, he would have been at least suspended, if not kicked off the team. You don't have to worry much longer, because I would be very surprised if Ruthsatz is around next season.

 

You must not have watched a lot of games when Listerman was coaching........

The Pride and Class has not gone anywhere. It is the same as it always has been there. Not sure why you feel the way you do towards Ruthsatz. Maybe Coach R cut your sone from the team??

Correct! What Listerman let boys get away with on the court was one of the first steps to his ultimate demise in Park Hills. I love Mike as a guy, but to make him out to be a disciplinarian with the boys is downright foolish.
