January 24, 201412 yr I don't know how to make this succinct. W/ the wave of one and dones, and the high schoolers before that, I got to thinking. If you had to make a starting lineup out of the best 3 year players, 2 year players, one and doners, and high schoolers what would they look like? Which is the best team? I haven't done enough research, so I'll start and people can fill in the blanks. High Schoolers PG - 2G - Kobe Bryant SF - PF - Kevin Garnett C - Moses Malone 1 and done PG - Kyrie Irving 2G - SF - Kevin Durant PF - C - Anthony Davis 2 Year (Sophs or Redshirts) PG - Magic Johnson 2G - Allen Iverson (he was a 2g dressed as a PG) SF - PF - C - 3 year (Jrs or Redshirt Sophs) PG - 2G - Michael Jordan SF - PF - C -
January 24, 201412 yr Was going to list Hakeem as 3 year Center, but I forgot he redshirted one year then played 3
January 24, 201412 yr This is going to be hard, I need to do some research first, you took the easy ones.
January 24, 201412 yr Did Barkley play at Auburn 2 or 3 years? Lebron is the obvious SF for HS. PG is going to take some work. I don't think there has been a stand out pg from HS.
January 24, 201412 yr I was looking at lists online and if we use bleacher reports list they count Tony Parker as straight out of HS. That is our best bet a PG.
January 24, 201412 yr Bird only played 3 years at Indiana State, didn't he? Don't know if that initial time he spent at Indiana disqualified him for a fourth year or not. If he was only considered a junior in the championship game, then I'd nominate him for your SF in your 3-year players.

January 24, 201412 yr Not sure if he should be counted. The only other option is Sebastian Telfair :lol2: That's who popped in my head...best by default.
January 24, 201412 yr While I know projecting forward we may go with Kyrie Irving for the one and done slot, but for a career Stephon Marburry deserves some consideration.
