Top players in the Class of 2015

Featured Replies

Hagen Tyler from Boyle Co should Definitely be on any list. 9th in the state in scoring at 22.6 ppg and leads the state in FT % at 92.7. Also averages over 7 rebounds a game. My top 10 in no particular order would be :

1. Justice

2. Bolden

3. Matlock

4. Spalding

5. McDonald

6. Holman

7. Tyler

8. Hall

9. Carson

10. Tisdale

No way I'm putting Matlock over Spalding or McDonald. I've seen all three play and have yet to be "Wowed" by Matlock. He's a good player but I need to see a big time performance from him first.

Stafford is a slasher type player. I will be interested to see how he adapts to the point guard role next year as he does not now have the mindset of a distributor. I thought the Ramser kid was the impressive one outside Spalding. Really nice shooter and defender like a coach on the floor, he seems to get better each time I have seen him.

In the LIT semi against Ballard, I thought both Stafford and Ramser played well. Ramser showed me a lot of savvy and all-around good play. I thought Stafford, at the point, made some nice penetration from some sets Szabo ran and fed some bigs for layups coming in along the base llne. Also, if I'm not mistaken the Courier-Journal recruiting writer says Spalding is the best junior in the state. Lord knows if this is true or not.......I don't see enough games to give an educated opinion.

Antigua is watching Ray Spalding tonight.

With Ramser, Stafford and Spalding all juniors they have a good base for next season. They just need a few role players around them and they will be good again.

I see where Knight played last night in the 65-25 win over Atherton, scoring 3 points. T scored only 15 points in the second half and only 3 in the 4th quarter so it's hard to gauge how much he played. I kind of think Trinity will be better next year than this year. We' ll see.

That's why I said in NO PARTICULAR ORDER!!

The entire second half was played with a running clock. It will also be interesting to see if Knight-Goff makes his way back. I hope you are not confusing Isaiah Knight (who played last night) with Kelshawn Knight-Goff.

Elijah Sindelar has to be one of the top players of the 2015 class if you're going to have Eli Pepper in it. Sindelar is just as good, if not better than Pepper. The kid is just an athlete and is good at every sport he plays.
