I heard rumors tonight that the Newport Catholic/Holmes game on February 14th could be played at The Bank of Kentucky Center. This would be a win win for both schools.

 

Also, I believe CovCath and Dixie play on the same night, what about a double header. Can you say "sellout".

I was told the same thing by a Holmes guy who would be "in the know."

I don't know if the BOK would sell out for this slate of games but I would definitely love to see it happen.

Holding the game at BOKC keeps it from being a sell out while also alleviating floor problems and allowing both programs to get experience just weeks before playing there in the region tournament.

Would love to se it at the BOK Center. If it's supposed to be played at NewCath then those that make those decisions need to make this right. NewCath has the same gym as Cov Cath and what happened tonight does not need to happen again.

Was told tonight, NewCath officials will be at NKU on Thursday to "hammer things out". Looks like half of a double header is going to be on the docket.

I would think it would be very expensive to operate a single HS game at the bank. Maybe Regents hall is another option? NKU did do a very nice job hosting soccer regionals on campus. Foolish not to get more local folks into the the arena. Great facility.

Nice advantage to get a game on the BOK floor prior to the Regionals.
