Was being a little facetious with the "Sellout" comment, but I do think that if NewCath/Holmes & CovCath/Dixie games were both being played as a "double bill" 5000 to 6000 is not out of the realm of possibility.

Do I need to see if we can get a Dixie delegate to go next Thursday with the NCC delegation?

NCC AD is meeting with BOK on Thursday.

get it done, this would be a great "double bill",........plus I can't think of a better way to spend Valentines Day.

Any chance of playing that on a Saturday? Attendance would be better. You would get players from other schools.

CovCath plays Moeller on that Saturday.

I just talked to a coach that said it would be a university/NCAA violation for the game to be moved to BOKC?

I assume there's loop holes in this rule, but wonder what NCC's AD could be meeting with NKU about? Game at Regents maybe?

If moving the regular season game to the BOKC would be a violation (recruiting I assume), how is the regional allowed?

I was wondering the same.

And the All A state tourney is held at EKU. I'm going to call Angela Peskie (KHSAA) tomorrow to try to get a clarification on the rule.

Sounds familiar. Wasn't Dixie or some 9th region team supposed to play at Rupp last year but it got cancelled due to an NCAA rule?

Regents seats 1.800...what is Newcath's seating capacity?

CCH just played at Freedom Hall on Saturday.

No showcases are allowed but it is unclear what the single game rule is.

Dixie was supposed to play at KFC Yum Center against a big time IN prep school Pike's senior year and the NCAA stepped in and said nah baby nah because it'd be a recruiting violation.
