Thoughts?

NCC by 6

I've been on the Lafayette bandwagon hard so far, so I'll stay with it and take the Generals by 5.

Any word on why Dequise Robinson didn't see many minutes today?

I think Lafayette matches up well. Davis, Ross Jenkins, and Blakely are some big boys. Their pressure will make NCC work hard, and I wonder how NCCs lack of depth will play out, especially given the number of games and tempo both teams have played at recently. Each has already had a 2 OT game already.

I don't know if NCC is quick enough 1-5 to turn Lafayette over the way Scott County did today.

All that said, NCC can use their size to attack Davis and try to get him in foul trouble. Lafayette isn't the same team without him. An NCC win wouldn't surprise me in the least.

What does Lafayette's starting lineup look like height wise? Davis is the only one I'm familiar with.

To add it what RP said, those Lafayette kids are thick too.

Blakley reminds me of a Mark Jackson/Derrick Jasper style player. Big, strong pg in a forward's body.

I will say that if I'm an NCC fan, I worry more about Lafayette and thoughts of Knott Central are putting the cart before the horse.

Lafayette's bench is better than NCC's. Lucky Jackson is a weapon.

That's big enough!

Truth. They better not be off like they were against Cordia.

.....

I think NewCath has a double digit lead at the half and ultimately wins by 3-5. I'm a huge fan of J.D. and Lafayette, but I think NewCath has more balance and more weapons.

NCC is and should be the favorite. I wonder if their tough bracket may have an effect on them against Lafayette. Lafayette is going to press the whole game nonstop without remorse. They pressed Augusta until it was a running clock and they pressed Scott County with a 5 point lead and 30 seconds left in the game. Better have some legs and energy.
