NCC is and should be the favorite. I wonder if their tough bracket may have an effect on them against Lafayette. Lafayette is going to press the whole game nonstop without remorse. They pressed Augusta until it was a running clock and they pressed Scott County with a 5 point lead and 30 seconds left in the game. Better have some legs and energy.

Yep. NCCs bench looked thin too. Lafayette got some rest in the Augusta game, but had a draining double OT game today. NCC had a double OT game on Friday, and got more rest today. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out. Could be the story of the game.

I'm going to work to get my computer to watch this one.

Agree. I'll be watching the semis, 3rd place game, and finals if at all possible.

I'll be at the finals on Monday depending on the matchup.

I will say that if I'm an NCC fan, I worry more about Lafayette and thoughts of Knott Central are putting the cart before the horse.

Very true, but no NewCath fan has stated anything about, "putting the cart before the horse".

Lafayette will be more than a handful.

Really looking forward to this match up.

I know I mentioned the NCC-KCC match up in the other thread, but I know this will not be an easy game for the Breds and they will have to play well to advance. Jackson Davis is capable of single handedly beating teams with his size, strength, and athleticism.

Was very impressed with their press today against Scott Co. Looking forward to this.

Blakley reminds me of a Mark Jackson/Derrick Jasper style player. Big, strong pg in a forward's body.

Agreed.

Just wanted to add, I'm a big Pangallo fan. I've mentioned McDonald and his touch and hunted at Weyer's emergence, but haven't given ZP his due. Really liked his game and the younger Moeves' defensive skills.

Zack has improved his game tremendously.

His pull up jumper and mid range game is almost automatic. Smooth is the best way to describe how he plays. He has also added some strength which allows him to finish through contact when attacking the rim.

Newcath will be pretty good next year too with a lineup of Pangallo, G Moeves, McDonald, and Weyer.
