Before you watched the games last night, how many times had you seen NCC in person?

Deservedly so. I truly enjoy watching him play.

That junior from Shaker Heights put up some tremendous numbers but evidently didn't have enough help around him.

The difference he makes is obvious. When spalding was in the game no one was finishing around the rim including Martin, as soon as he went out Ballard controlled the boards and the inside game.

 

When he was hurt late in the 2nd quarter, he had 6 points and 7 rebounds.

Any updates on Ray and Cory will be much appreciated! Right now tournament site covers only the first half but maybe they'll know something.

Coach Mike Szabo said Raymond Spalding had concussion symptoms after incident in 2nd quarter. That's why he didn't play 2nd half. #loubb

 

Just an update to say there is no medical update yet on the effects of the collision between Trinity's Spalding and Ballard's Berry (sorry for error on name). Louisville Catholic Sports, The C-J, & The KOB site give no follow-up details.

The Spalding injury was more costly than the casual fan realizes. Earlier in the day the his backup Kelshawn Knight-Goff left the team.

I was surprised to see Trinity playing a quicker pace than what they played against Ballard in the LIT last season. Slowing it down seemed to work last season. Granted

Ballard didn't do Trinity like they did NCC in the third quarter they did still take control of the game in the third quarter.
