Unless you define your terms, no one will give you the attention you merit. I'll help some. First thing to do is define "mainstream media" in terms of news sources -- TV, radio, newspapers, web sites, magazines etc. Tell us who's a part of this coverup cabal and who's not.

Perhaps you and your pals would like to define who or what is "the mainstream media." It's time for a definition of terms ... specifics please ... as opposed to simply dispensing generalities.

OMG are you serious. The mainstream media controls a lot and can take a president down as much as it can help elect him.

Back in the day, Walter Cronkite was CBS News and everyone's sources of information were limited to the three TV networks and the hometown newspaper. Maybe Reader's Digest, too. But that ain't the case today. I don't think there is such a thing as the "mainstream media" anymore. Way too many options available today for everyone with the explosion of cable TV and the Internet.

 

If you don't like NBC, watch Fox. If you don't like the Washington Post, subscribe to the Washington Times. If you don't like Huffingtonpost.com, bookmark Drudge or Newsmax.

 

"Mainstream media" is just a bogeyman term that the Republicans use to stir up the base.

If that is the case, mainstream media is scary. You are right though, mainstream does not equate to being right.

Maybe "MainStream Media" is the confusing Term...maybe it should be "Majority Media" or "Media Majority" due to the unabashed left leaning of the majority of newspapers, networks and reporters.
