I wonder what would happen if only two people received votes and both had idols? Say tonight that Jeremiah had the idol and got the 5 votes. Then say everyone else voted Tony and then he pulls out his special power idol. That mean no votes count. Do they do a re-vote like they would with a tie? Are the idols still protecting the two players that played them?

I was texting a good friend last night and both of us said that we weren't sure we really liked the new idol. Seems like a crazy advantage, basically too strong.

Agree. Basically Tony has to be voted out twice now. With only 4 votes left he has a lot of power.

The producers have made him invulnerable. I was loving this season until that twist. Maybe if I liked Tony I would feel differently but I doubt it.

 

Any respect I had for Jefra as a player went out the window. Had she not completely lost her spine and been swayed by Trish and Kass the game is totally different. Yes the votes for Tony wouldn't have counted and Jeremiah would probably still be gone but the idol would be gone.

Tony's alliance will believe whatever he tells them. They've proven that they are stupid and perfectly willing to be led around by the nose.

I can see Spencer figuring out what the "special idol" does and trying to flush it but for that to happen he has to get enough votes that Tony would be gone without using it. I just don't see him being able to convince anyone other then Tasha.

I thought Spencer should have grab it when he laid it down and taken a look at it saying - if its really fake you should have no issue if we see how to make a fake idol. Since Tony put it back in his 'bag of tricks' it should make them all wonder if it was real or not and figure it out. It has more power if they have no idea that he has it. Now, he has created a question on if he has it.

 

So I think definitely think he got too cute with his 'bag of tricks'.

Most people would put 2 and 2 together and figure out he has the special idol that everyone knows is out there. Of course, these people are just sheep in Tony's pasture.

Tony needs to eliminate Spencer, Tasha, Woo and Cisse (sp?) in that order if possible. He goes to final 3 with his two girls and wins.

 

Spencer, Tasha and Woo are good in challenges and Spencer and Tasha would do favorable in the final 3 against him. In fact, if Spencer or Tasha is not in the final 3 I think Tony will win with who ever else goes.

Wouldn't it be handled like any other tie? A revote where you can't vote for the players with an idol.

I agree. Best case scenario for the producers is somehow they both make the Final Three. If either is there without the other, I believe that one wins.

 

No idea what happens if neither are there, but I'd guess Tasha.
