Ok, I don't like this new format of going back and forth to the live show.

 

We said the same thing. Must not have had enough good footage.

 

Not cool. I don't like what Spencer did at all. Maybe Tony played the way Spencer thinks the game should be played, but it isn't his job to make speeches for Tony. If Tony wins, he should give half the money to Tony.

 

I really don't think that Spencer's speech would have swayed too many jury members. I really believe that the majority of the people have their mind made up before the Final Tribal, but they just want to say their piece to dig at the player who voted them out. In the end, over a lot of seasons, the majority of them still vote for the snake.

Oh yeah. Big time. At Tribal every person blasted Tony over his lying ways; swearing on family members lives, graves, his badge; etc. Trish was in tears blasting Tony about backstabbing her. She made the very good point that she was the one who held their alliance together by smoothing over Tony's daily manic statements and backstabbing votes. Meanwhile Woo made excellent statement after statement about how he played the game with honor and that he brought Tony to Tribal because of loyalty, honor and because he felt Tony deserved to be there over Kass.

 

Trish's speech was the best of the night. My dad looks at me and says, "If you're ever on Survivor and I'm dead. Swear on my grave as much as you want. I won't be around to be upset by it."

LJ must have used some kinda hair replacement product.

In the end. You might not like him but Tony did play the best game.

I wonder who would have won fan favorite between Woo & Spencer? I would have said Spencer.

Tony deserved the win but he's a slime. People can say it's a game all they want but I really believe that Survivor brings out traits in people that are lurking just below the surface in their everyday life. He's berated other players on Twitter. If he really left it on the island that doesn't happen. The difference between Woo and other "sheep" that came to the final tribal and won was that Woo really acted like he thought he had played a good strategic game. I don't have a problem with what Spencer did. He's obviously passionate about the game and when you make your jury statement you get to say what you want. The others had had several days at Ponderosa to vent their feelings, how many times has something like that happened away from the cameras? Spencer just chose to do it for all to see.

People like Jeremiah and Trish, who are so worked up about Tony's swearing on this or that grave or life, really have no business playing the game of Survivor. To win this game, you have to throw all your morals and ideals out the window. It's a game about lying, cheating, and manipulating other people. As much as I disliked Tony, he played a great game if you keep all that in mind.

What happened to the $100,000 fan favorite prize? Guess they don't offer it anymore. I really thought Spencer would win it if it were available.
