Word is AD never had a set when it came to backing up Murray any other time!

It should of never went past the AD. He should of handled it from the get go and it should of never went to Central Office. He's there for a paycheck and that's it. The powers to be screwed up when they made Mike Bankemper choose between wrestling coach or AD because they wouldn't let him do both. But on the flip side if anyone in your family has power positions then by all means skip the AD and go straight to the SI and ruin a guys career and the girls season. Real classy!! :no:

Just a question, but the player whose parents are behind all of this, anyone ask her about all this?? I'm reading about warm up shirts and the like, is she going to particiapte in all of this as well?? Guessing parents would have to buy the shirt?? Just wondering.

I'm not as close to the subject, but I have to believe it's actually putting a lot of pressure on the kid. I'm not sure they care, but it has to be putting pressure on her. I'm not saying she is innocent and isn't a part of all of it, but she is the kid in this situation. It's sad all the way around.

Couldn't disagree more with the first bolded and the second bolded admits that the AD got skipped in this process. The criticism of Steve doesn't appear warranted. At a minimum, it seems he needed to be given the opportunity to resolve the issue before he should take the heat for the outcome.

He got skipped over last year I agree. This year the complaint went to him. Believe me I'm not blaming this on the AD his hands are somewhat tied like the coaches and maybe that wasn't fair to him for me to post that, but I can tell you that the majority of the parents feel that way. Could of been squashed last year if they would of stepped in when the parents came across the gym and screamed at the coaching staff like the were dogs in front of Administration. Step in, defuse the situation and remove the parents from the gym. If the parents can't act responsible then ban them from attending games.

The shirts won't be worn during warm ups that I know of. It is just a statement by the 99.9% of the girls and parents to let the school know that we stand behind our coach and feel he and our daughters got a raw deal. Gotta stand up for what you believe in.

Most of the JV girls are sporting their I "heart" Murray shirts at the freshman game today. I love it.

I saw Murray with Coach Ritchie during LaRosa's Classic & my immediate thought was CC shoots themselves in the foot once again not only now losing athletes to Highlands but winning Coach as well!!! LOVE it!!!

I don't think you are meaning to say anything about HHS, but to set the record straight, Coach Murray and the Ritchie's go back much further than Coach Murray even being at Camp Co. They have been friends for awhile. So regardless of any of this, you could have very easily seen the same scenario at any game. (except that Coach Murray would have been down south coaching his team instead of watching games at Conner).

 

I have absolutely no insight into what you are saying about HHS getting players from this situation and I hope you're not insinuating that their is some kind of "deal" going on, but I can assure you there isn't. Even if coaches were planning some mass exodus to HHS, it wouldn't be feasible unless families moved to Ft Thomas because there is a lock on accepting tuition students at HHS. So the "master plan" would be destined to fail anyway!!

 

As for Coach Murray, I'm sure if there was an opening on our staff he would get a call and the players and parents would welcome him as a great addition to an already great staff. I doubt he would take it because he is more than worthy of a head coaching job. But I would love to see a "super staff" at HHS!

Football, soccer & basketball players that previously had dealings with the political parental problems that have haunted CC for years!! Coach Murray is a well respected coach by many so I'm not surprised to hear about his many friendships. Regardless of where he ends up no doubt that will be one lucky school & program!!

Heard this crazy family and company are going after Murray's teaching license now.I am so close to putting this family's name on here.
