Occultism in Entertainment/Media

Or maybe the chic just digs owls? Its fairly common that an owl is linked to wisdom. It doesn't turn it into an occult symbol or that it what it is being used for. That fact that owls are fairly popular right now is some grand scheme to place occult artifacts in all our homes

Occultists use the owl symbol. Doesn't mean everyone who owns or wears anything with an owl is an occultist. However, Occultists do use this symbology it is important to them.

But it's cool I understand I should have known before I even started the thread that there wasn't a lot of open minded discussion to partake in. You guys can shut it down all you want and laugh off all this stuff like its silly non sense, but our society will continue to snowball down hill. My only purpose was to try to present some of this stuff and let you all see for yourself. It's apparent nothing is going on and it's all a joke I guess. I was hoping to at least show how far our society is going down hill but you guys don't even care enough to acknowledge it. Values and morals are quickly dying out in this country and the corruption in media is a big reason why. When your sons and daughters start throwing occultic symbols like their media icons and open themselves up to some dark stuff don't say I didn't bring it up. I'm just trying to show people these symbols aren't good and people don't need to be using them without knowing what they represent.

That's my point. Just because she is wearing an owl doesn't make her an occultists. Grant Morrison? That is a pretty good example of a guy that is out there.

The best example I can give people may relate to is jay z's "roc" sign or "the diamond". Nerlens Noel came out and threw it at Madness last year, Ramel Bradley threw it up all the time. Lot of people have I even used to. However this sign came from the occult it's not actually a sign for jay zs brand or company or Brooklyn or anything like that. Alistair Crowley stated this was one of the most powerful and dark signs of the occult he would use it in rituals frequently. He said the sign possessed great power. Now millions throw it up every day thinking it means something else, they throw it at the concerts in union and all that. It's dark, people are participating in a ritual and don't even know it. The whole society is being influenced and deceived and they don't even know it.

All I'm trying to do is say hey, before you start throwing some of these signs find out where they come from first.

This isn't Rhi Rhis first rodeo though she wears that type of stuff all the time and it's not just owls.

I mean this as nicely as possible, but what did you expect? That the majority here were going to agree a nefarious cabal of satanists and warlocks are subliminally controlling popular artists and unraveling society because a freak like ke$ha (is that the proper spelling? I don't know) had a pentagram in a music video? You keep telling everyone to listen to you or hear you out or to trust you, but there's not much in the way of evidence here.

..........

I just read every post in this thread and someone owes me about 20 minutes. :isurrender:

This produced the loudest chuckle out of me so far today...

I throw up The Roc after making threes in a pickup game. Even if it is the most powerful and dark sign of the occult I still need to be mentally in tuned with it for it to have any true meaning. Otherwise it is as worthless as 666.

Right intention is everything like anything In life. But still people need to look at the background and learn it's not something Jay Z originated. Also well known Jay-z studied a lot of Crowley.

Hey it's cool your not going to find me hating. I'm glad everyone lives in their cocoon and blocks out the thought of anything ever being bad. I forgot everything In the world is perfect, especially in entertainment. Guess they're just brilliant marketers. Such great marketing ideas.

Again before anybody blasts me due a quick study on the occult and their symbology. Until then keep your minds closed.

And again one last time just to clear it up. I didn't just watch a couple YouTube videos and go on this rant. It all started with the enjoyment I had for bands like Led Zepplin and TooL who both use excessive imagery and signs in their work, album art, etc. I started researching the bands and discovered they were very much into the occult. I was curious so I started researching myself, guys like Crowley and all the Occultists they were into. After reading some Crowley and occult literature I became more educated. I have researched it for almost ten years. I just noticed you see this stuff all the time now and wanted to start a thread to discuss it.

So before you dismiss my argument please read the literature and read up on the occult before you point fingers at me.

Does this mean I can still use the 3 goggles?

I'm not so much dismissing that these celebs could in an occult. I'm dismissing that it means anything. Again 99% of the population doesn't even know what this crap means so it really doesn't matter. And if Jay Z can get 50,000 people to throw up some stupid sign in an effort to make them apart of a ritual they don't even know they are participating in what has he accomplished? Did he manage to open some other world portal and bring across his goat demon god or something?

Again it's all about intention if your intention is to represent a three pointer it's not bad. Just know that the same symbol has far darker roots and there are some out there with a differing intention that you. If you see most celebs doing it I would bet they're not throwing it to signify a three pointer.

Occultists believe certain rituals can bring power and manipulate energies. They don't just do it just to do it, there's always a purpose.

And to your point about 99% of people not knowing that's the point. People don't realize it's going on, it used to be even more over the top but they have toned it down and made it more subtle because more people are noticing. But overall that's the point people don't realize what this stuff means so they can follow blindly not knowing what this stuff is. That's why I'm at least trying to enlighten you all about it but you just want to mock and make fun.

When I get home I will post a video of Anton LeVey (founder of the church of satan) explaining some of these signs and their significance/purpose.
