Rank The Remaining 6A Teams

Central Hardin, Meade County, Butler, Simon Kenton, Trinity, Male, Scott County & Henry Clay-- how do you rank them and why?

SK number 1!

And the remaining teams? He asked you to rank the remaining teams, not tell everyone who you think is #1.

Trinity

Male

Scott Co

Simon Kenton

I don't think any of the next 4 can beat any of my top 4.

I think the bigger question is which teams are in the top four; there's too much separation between them and the rest of the teams IMO.

1) Trinity (been there and done it) seems like things have changed based on the game against Manual

2) Male (still convinced they may be #1; rematch will tell us)

3) Simon Kenton (The Pioneers are better than many think; very balanced passing game and Powell is back who is a difference maker) My biggest question is can their defense play disciplined for full games, which is necessary at this point.

4) Scott County (The Cardinals may be better than SK; would really like to see them play this year)

The rest don't matter. :D

1. Trinity -

seem to be clicking at the right time

2. Male -

has the talent

3. Scott County -

relatively untested, but maybe the most intriguing

team; likely to be very hungry from last year

4. Simon Kenton -

convincing win over Dixie Heights last week

5. Butler -

don't think they will be a walk in the park for Simon Kenton; I'm expecting a hard fought game; maybe the most underrated

6. Henry Clay -

athleticism puts them ahead of the two WKY teams

7. Meade County -

gets the nod after beating Central Hardin in the regular season

8. Central Hardin -

most had them dropping their game to McCracken County, but they're still here; regular season loss to Meade leaves them here

I like you rankings.

However, I would swap Scott County and Male based on:

1.) Scott County running the table this season and basically blowing opponent after opponent away;

2.) Scott County's deep run into the playoffs and having Trinity on the ropes last season. I think they will have a focus and have grown from that loss.

I think the Cardinals would have benefited from a few close games, but they have what it takes to make a run for the state championship this season. I did see them against Henry Clay and their defense giving up that many yards was alarming, but the Blue Devils do have some unique high school weapons.

I'm just not sold on Scott Co. They have played a soft schedule. You want respect? Earn it by playing a big boy schedule.

Trinity

Scott Co

SK

Male

Butler

HC

CH

Meade

Its T's to lose.

Lots of new faces in the mix of things and I will stand by the ole "been there done that"

Lots of people talk about this team and that team that plays a really tough schedule not because they have to but because they want to in an attempt to make their team better in the end...Well this applies to T this yr. They took their lumps but are much better for it.

I may be really wrong here but they gave the rest of Class a really, really bad false sense of hope...Just sayin

Their is some hope though...Male is good enough and has the experience, I have always said from day 1 that SC might be the best in the State and everyone keeps pointing to their weak schedule.

Plain and simple whoever beats T will win the State Title...JMO

One of the top 3 will win it all......Simon is solid but at least 2 to 3 td dog against the top 3.
