UK Fan, You're NEER Koolaid is strong today. You're team is clearly the favorite here, but these scores have nothing to do with it. The Ryle games are basically the same score (Butler likely had JV in too). You beat up a bad Southern team a little more and finally compare a hard fought playoff game against a regular season game.

Don't get me wrong I think SK wins, but not by 5 TDs.

Campbell game SK was up 34 to 7 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

I love pushing Trinity fans buttons!

Maybe SK can push the "score" button if they get to face the Rocks in a few weeks...

As for this game, here's to SK being 13-0, and then hopefully 14-0.

They will if the Rocks make it that far.

Now, now. In order to be the best, you have to beat the best. Bama is #1 until beaten. And before you assume, I am a die hard tOSU Buckeye fan.

That thinking is as faulty as comparing scores. Different Bama team from last year.

C'mon man, he's a Buckeye's fan leave the poor guy alone.

Then perhaps RP should reference them. I'm not saying what ukfan said was ok, but to come in with a Trinity reference was rather irrelevant.

He referenced the 'Ville, not JCPS

Sounds like it is going to be another rainy game.

I see SK winning the next two easily and them hitting a wall. Hope not!

SK simply needs to stop Joe Harris...

Joe Brown ^ apologies...

IMO, these are basically even teams. Butler lost a 4 point game to Manual that they led for a big portion of it. I watched that game on IHigh and was impressed with both teams. There defense is quick and they'll flat lay a lick on you, plus, I thought there DL was quick off the ball and real good laterally. I think SK will need to run north and south and not try to beat them on the edges. While there line wasn't quite as big as Manuals, they weren't small either, but, more than anything, athletic and quick. Manual had little success against this D, but, what success they did have was on delayed draws and playaction passes middle and long. The Manual RBs would cut back from the flow of the blocking and find some yards that way, but, very few holes were opened from the ones they were initially trying to set up. Butler's a team that has enough athleticism and talent to play with the Big 4 teams of Louisville, not neccessarily beating them, but, at the least, being competive with them, with a shot to win at anytime they line up with them. I agree that they're probably right behind the Big 4 out of all the Louisville schools, so, I would expect them to be a very tough out for the Pioneers. Being the games on Butlers home turf will be the deciding factor, imo. I think they take this one in a fairly low scoring game. I'm gonna say 14-10

Big Barry Deaton (85 tackles 4 sacks) will do his best to shut him down!

I just have a hard time seeing Butler hold SK below 2 TD's because no other team has done so. Dixie held them to 19 points but SK dropped 31 on them 4 weeks later. Other than that their fewest points of the season came against Collins on the road in the opening game of the season.

SK will shut down Butlers running game they swarm to the ball.
