CoachBuckett Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 First let me say hats of to Coach Poynter and the Tigers they played hard all night. In my 20 years of coaching football I have never seen a game like this. The Panthers had to have over 200 yards in penalties. Panthers also had hard time holding on to the football. Penlaties killed the Panthers offense all night long. Panthers in control all night was up 24- 0 when they threw a pick 6. Not sure but think the Panthers had 4-5 turnovers. Name of the game live to play another game. Hopefully they have all of it out of their system. I think the KHSAA makes a mistake by have officials not call in the areas they typically do.

After what I saw at the NewCath/ Walton game I'm in agreement with the above.
Voice of Reason Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I am impressed at the Panthers defense holding Bellevue's offense to one TD. I thought this would be a higher scoring game. Once again it is Frankfort versus Beechwood for the regional championship. It should be a good one.
jvdfc Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Congrats to the Panthers. Keep it rollin guys.
Tall Trees Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Congrats to Frankfort they have a very good football team. Very proud of the Tigers. They have a lot of heart and fight in them. Good season and game for a bunch of kids that are "to little" as the Frankfort fans standing in the far end zone said. GO TIGERS!!!!
Tall Trees Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Actually Bellevue cut the score to 16-8 early in the 3rd quarter on a Int by Blake Stephenson. Bellevue had several turnovers. 4 I know in the first half and 2 or 3 in the second half. That slowed the offense down a lot. The tigers had trouble blocking the Panthers. 51 and 44 from Frankfort were in Ackerson face most of the night.
Lawnboy13 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Congrats to Bellevue quarterback Tyler Ackerson, as he becomes the first player in school history to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a single season, he finished with 3,096 yards passing. :ylsuper:

Agree with this because it seems you end up with odd penalties that have not been called before or more penalties called.:idunno:
frankdracman23 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Bellevue staff got the most they could out of what they had this year. Kids played hard and most had to go both ways and play special teams. Solid year and fun year for their fans.

If you, your team and full grown fans commit fouls they should be called no matter if the officials are from Frankfort, Bellevue, Pikeville, or Denver. Bellevue has had no calls, miscalls, and ghost calls made ALL YEAR long from officials in NKFOA that cost Bellevue games and I never got on here and said anything about it. Guess I am now

Agree with you and not commenting on this game in particular but I have noticed differences.
CoachBuckett Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Talk trees when an official throws a flag for kids yelling at their teamates because they are too sensative is crap. Frankfort had 2 drive killing penalties because players talking to players. Any worse game the Panthers have played all year. Panthers should of had 14 more points but penalties killed them
Tall Trees Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 We had stuff called like that all year. If we make a play and give each other a high five we got unsportsman like from officials in NKFCA. So where the officials are from don't matter. Well those 2 plenties only equaled out with the ones that they didn't call on the Frankfort fans that were standing behind the Bellevue bench, which could have been 5 or 6 different times. Grown people should not talk to 16 and 17 year old kids like that. Good luck next week.
