XP's have been a challenge for much of the season for Conner.

 

You told me at the SK game that the kicking game would come back to bite this team.

Seems like Conner has dropped some serious heartbreakers over the past few years in the playoffs. Congrats to AC.

Clyde, what is up with your teams extra point problems this year lol. Both CCH and Conner have been snake bitten when it comes to xtra points it seems like this year.

 

Good question. CCH , though, seems to have gotten on a better roll and Conner was good on the first 4 tonight.

Zack Carmichael 15-22-2-167 with 2 touchdown passes don't have his rushing yard stats. Not bad for a kid that's been sick all week.

Sounds like from those there it was an intentional fake. Not really a kicking game issue. IMHO, a play-calling issue.

I see a lot of post about what Conner did wrong (play calling and such) but how about what AC did right?! I told posted earlier that at some point Cox would get free and he did and it appears he had a pick as well on D, good young man that I had the pleasure of speaking with this summer at the UofL camp and after the Cooper game. AC has some weapons and I'm sure the bulletin board material coach Trosper provided helped to motivate AC.

I saw the xp attempt very clear and it looked like a good snap and a designed play. Barker went back, got a little pressure and slipped and went down.

 

Found out that you are correct. One kid forgot to go out so Way was double-teamed. Little things.

 

As always though it's never one play. Drew will tell you he had chances. Special teams obviously had chances to do better.

 

It's just an early preview of life for these kids.
