Wow...a "dad" taking shots at a high school kid. Really strong move, I hope people treat your kids with more respect than you're treating this one with.

He has a long, long way to go to do that IMO. Maybe they don't have anyone else ahead of him that is better and he will get the job, but he is not ready for that now. He has to work like he has never worked before in the off season to make me eat those words.

 

 

The way I understand it the competition could be between a senior to be and two sophomores.

 

I do expect Elijah to work and I expect that he will grow as a result of the competition regardless of how it turns out. He knows what he needs to do.
