I hate to equate the two because I know his calculations are different than mine, but if every time I wavered on my college choice was news to somebody on the internet, I'd have seen about 9 stories on my decommitments during my senior year of high school. Obviously nobody really ever wanted me to sign a letter...

November 15, 201312 yr Which is a perfect example of why these kids shouldn't commit so early, IMO. Agreed. 16-year-old me absolutely did not make the same decisions that 18-year-old me did; heck, those decisions often weren't even based on the same set of criteria.
