Anyone have a #9?

A few things I can think of:

-The same weight loss/workout pics... We get it, you work out. Your body looks the same today as it did last week. And the week before, and the week before.

-Pictures of your dog. Seriously, nobody cares.

-CANDY CRUSH INVITES :rage:

- Stop sharing what song you're listening to on Pandora on Twitter... Again, we don't care.

I don't use twitter but love Facebook. Facebook has gotten me in touch with more long lost friends than anything else.

Love keeping in touch with them and it's also a great way to keep relatives informed on what is going on and keeping tabs with them. Talking about the out if towners

#5- Pregnant belly pics

and the weekly updated pregnant belly pictures

Ok #10

I could give a crap what your dog looks like sleeping. Quit posting ignorant pictures of your pets sleeping.

Kid pics for childless people.

...and if you're in the rare breed of folks that has children and you post pictures of your dog... what are you doing? Post annoying pictures of your kid! At least I can understand that...

No one is forced to have a Facebook account as far as I'm aware.

You're correct that we aren't forced to do it & we can ultimately choose to do what you have done in regards to Facebook.

I would also say, though, that Facebook in and of itself can be a very good and fun thing to participate in. A lot of users can make it less enjoyable by regularly doing some of the stuff mentioned in the article G linked.

So to me it's a two-way street. I don't have to be there, but those who are could also be a little more courteous as well.

That is a have your cake and eat it too response. Love it!!!

I'm not really sure what you're saying here, but okay.

Why does anyone really NEED to have a Facebook? And if you do need one, if you don't like what people are posting on or about, just defriend them. Problems solved.

Right, but isn't the simple solution to that, to defriend those people?

Or block them, yes.

But then I will inevitably run into them & they'll ask if I saw something or another that they posted on Facebook & while I don't mind telling them the truth about my blocking them, they get their feelings hurt.

I'm not gonna lie... People that post pics of their kids non stop is kind of annoying too. It's mostly younger people with kids that I've noticed. "Here's little Billy eating his snack today." The next day: "Here's little Billy eating his snack again." If you want to have thousands of pics of your kid, by all means have at it. I don't want/need to see all of them. Keep some of them for yourself.

Maybe I am entertained by it all.
