I thought you would never ask. Ashland received a transfer from Ironton several weeks ago and he played sparingly in last week's game. He is another option at running back and is a very athletic player. His name is Jake Long. I don't know if he will play a lot this week or not, but he is a nice addition to Baker in the backfield.

If the situation were reversed and the Birds were getting the late season transfer who was eligible BGP would explode.

What! You haven't heard about our new guys yet?

So true.

If they run a 4-4 defense this week, they better have some VERY fast LBs that can cover OR you better be prepared for the JumBIRDtron to blow a circuit putting up all the points on the HHS side.

Ashland hasn't faced a team that throws as much as Highlands. If anyone is dumb enough to think they will play a 4-4 this week.............................................

You mean the ones from Ohio?

For the record, I stated no opinion, just reporting the facts.

Ashland at Highlands (WBVB 97.1-FM)

Please people, out of respect to Male, don't refer to HHS as H. We all know Male was the first H opening in 1856 and we didn't open till 32 years later in 1888
