Walton can't throw the ball. When you are one dimensional against a good team, its difficult to win. I would love to see the Bearcats do it, but I don't think there is much chance they knock off NCC. I can't wait for Beechwood to move up and see those two schools beat each other up to advance down state. The way it was back in the old days

That is not good news for WV versus the Breds. NCC's defense is tough to run on. You need to be able to throw the ball against them IMO.

Yes, because we all know that Size is everything in H.S. Football. In small school ball, Size generally means slower. While this is certainly not a classic NCC team, they come after you and hit hard. If NCC holds onto the ball, I predict an exit for the Bearcats.

No one will know anything until it is decided how many teams are in each class. If could be the smallest 32 in 1A or it could be equally divided out between all 6 classes and therefore about 40.

Walton is an run dominated offense but can't throw is way to strong. Current QB is the first Walton QB to throw for over 1,000 yards in a season. They are passing more than they ever have this year.

I know you can't strictly rely on scores but WV lost to Holmes by 2tds. NCC scrimmaged Holmes and I believe it was 24-0 at half. Holmes was blown out by Ashland, NCC beat Ashland earlier in the season. I know teams get better during the season so things get be a little different. I have seen both teams play and this one shouldn't be close in favor of NCC. WV is very well coached by Coach Barth and staff, they just don't have the guns IMO. In this case size doesn't matter. Lol

I would not use Holmes as a common score in any situations. They were a much different team throughout the season.

Bottom line is WV is still alive by beating a Lloyd team that NCC was only up 3-0 at half on.
