Indeed injuries are a part of the game, excessive injuries however, like nine out of 22 starters being out at one time, is a tab much to say, injuries are a part of the game and honestly how many teams could still win 8 out of 10 games with so many starters out and play one of the toughest schedules in the state?

These polls are nice to spur conversation but people really put too much stock into them. Unless the two teams play it's really hard to say who is better.

HHS is clearly number 1 in NKY, 2 and 3 is a toss up and if they played 10 times it would come out close to 50/50, 4-7 put them in any order you like, and the rest are bringing up the rear.

I don't read this like anyone at CCH is making excuses. These are just facts. And the reality is, this teams record would likely be the same as it is now (8-2) without the injuries as it has achieved with the injuries.

 

The fact that this team, as injury plagued as any I have ever seen, has bettered the record from last years team while playing arguably a tougher schedule, is a huge testament to these kids and coaches.

 

Talk about player development and next man up. I couldn't be more proud.
