I really wish they'd play some NKY teams during the season. They always seem to put up a good seasson record only to get outted in the playoffs early on.

 

I don't know how good or bad they are, wish they and Cooper would schedule eachother each year.

 

Bellevue and Holmes are two this year. How many more should they play if you don't count Grant County and the four district games? Kentucky Country Day and LCA are the only two teams that are out of the area. Both of those two teams are good programs. Walton played Cooper in it's first year of varsity football and lost in a tight game.

Thats good. I didn't know they played anoyone from NKY until the playoffs.

Still baffled how many accuse Walton of scheduling soft and ducking NKY teams. They played Bellevue 5 years in row and this cycle picked up Holmes and Newport. KCD won 11 games last year and lost to Mayfield in the region, and Lex Christian won a state title in 2009 and is generally a top 10 2A school. It is my understanding Walton desperately wanted to keep Lloyd on the schedule, but the Juggs looked elsewhere. Reminder, Walton had Dayton, Brossart, Ludlow, & Berea as out of district games a few years ago. They are clearly a program on the rise and much better tested this year, good luck Friday!

According to the poll and those who really know football, Highlands is # 1. SK still a wannabe.

There is no one anywhere or any ranking that has Simon Kenton #1 in any poll. The good news for uk#1fan, win 5 games and then SK will be #1 and no one will be able to say otherwise. Until that happens, SK is not #1.

Honesty question: Would SK beat HHS without your starting QB, your Best WR, your Best RB, starting Guard, starting Tackle playing with a broken hand, your best defender playing on one leg, your second best defender not playing due to a concession and a DB out do to sickness. Missing all those players does SK beat HHS?
