He's going to tell the teacher, the adminiatration, and the police that someone assaulted him. He's going to see that kid put in an alternative school, a school where he won't get in to a good high school or probably into college at all. We're going to teach our son that if someone hits you, you don't hit them back--bruises heal. Ruin their life."

But we aren't talking about kids. We are talking about grown men. HUGE difference in my eyes.

 

I tell my KIDS the same thing your wife says but mainly because nowadays you can get whipped by the bully and not get one punch in and you'll still get suspended which gets you kicked off the basketball team. So I tell my kid togo run and tell teh teacher and if they don't fix it then come get me. Grown men should stand up for themselves.

What I honestly think happened: Coaches told Incognito to "toughen Martin up" after Martin misses some voluntary workouts. They do so knowing full well that Incognito would do so mercilessly and turned a blind eye to him crossing the line.
