Drew will be on a team with Allen and Heard who is going to Texas.

Drew flew to San Antonio today to start the week of practice and festivities. Rooming with Elam.

 

It will be one of those weeks he'll remember for a long time.

 

It's truly a blessing for Drew to be taking part in this once in a lifetime experience. The ArmyBowl folks are doing a great job making this a very special event for these boys. The red carpet has been rolled out. The game will be broadcast Saturday on NBC at 1:00 pm prior to the NFL Wildcard Playoff game.

My family went last year for this week at the Army All American game. We had a great time.

Drew will always remember this week. Congrats to him and I hope he does well and enjoys his time there. It will be great for him to be there when Elam commits to the Cat's :thumb:

Correct they were. Its a neat time down in San Antonio for the weeklong events.

It is great that Barker and Elam will be be playing. It seems that Kentucky is getting a bit more recognition of the talent that is here. Its usually only been one player and hopefully these special players felt the whole state behind them. That should be the case this year with everyone who is involved with Kentucky High School football proud of both players and the recognition that the state produces excellent talent that can be showcased at the national level.
