Actually this fixes two issues:

 

1. Gets everyone into playoffs - without adding more weeks or changing basic structure.

2. Eliminates the arbitrary limitation of 1A and 6A and forcing other classes to absorb extra teams.

VOR, I hope there are no hard feelings. We have agreed on many other subjects and even in different sport threads. We just don't agree on this one! It's great debate and helps my day go faster!

This is just a good discussion and nothing personal involved so definitely no hard feelings. To tell you the truth, we have gone back and forth on it so much from so many different angles I almost don't know what we are debating any more.

The bottom line for me is I want as many teams as possible playing in the playoffs so after the regular season ends, every team possible has a chance to win a title.
