Why should they? It really doesn't prove anything. I'd rather schools play other schools I. Their county to build rivalries. But that's just me.

I wasn't sure what kind of game HHS and Simon would be until I went to the Simon-Dixie game. After watching that i said HHS by 3 to 4 tds...now after watching the HHS-Elder game its not out of the question that HHS would put a running clock on Simon. JMO.

Not saying for sure just saying it wouldnt shock me. I have seen HHS all year and they have improved quit a bit...now to Simons credit i have only seen them once so I may be off base. JMO

It happened right in front of me and I was 5 rows up. Based on the effort of Venneman to track down that throw and corral it, the referee should have given it to him. One of the best catches I have ever seen in HS football.

 

As far as the implications it had on the game, I would say it was HUGE. IMO the Birds get that completion and they roll into the endzone for the GW TD. Even the Elder fans who were sitting around me were amazed he hauled that catch in and not once argued it hit the turf.

You must've had money on this one, Ryche......jk In all seriousness, I agree with you. It was the greatest grab I've ever witnessed in high school football next to AC's catch in '08.
