Campbell County vs Brossart is hands down the best of those listed.

Tough to top Newcath v Holmes last year and especially this year. That is THE GAME to see this year.

You're confusing the quality of the play with the rivalry. CC/Brossart is much bigger than NCC/Holmes.

What makes it such a big rivalry? Obviously it is a district game and the proximity plays a role, but what has happened over the years to make it the best rivalry in NKY?

Walter you need to see more of the 10th region. The schools are about 2 miles apart. Kids went to grade school together, live next store to each other. Sold out gym for a triple header. Better get there before the JV game. They have to play the game at the middle school since it is a larger gym. Check out scores of last few years. Typically it's a close game no matter who has the better team. In the summer you will hear kids and parents say "I'll see you on January 3rd."

10th Region: Paris vs Bourbon ... The two schools that are three minutes apart have met 167 times on the basketball court. Bourbon leads the overall series 90-77, after seeing Paris tie it at 71-71 a few years ago!
