I'm not anti-Eli' date=' just stating the obvious. It ended up being a good game that the Giants were in a position to win.[/quote']

I never said otherwise. Giants run a lot of option routes and their offense is very complicated. It wouldn't be the first time Randle has ran the wrong route. He and Eli seem to either connect for a TD, or a blown play.

Giants have been in several games this year. Just can't seem to finish. Not their year, obviously.

He's been on his back foot more this season than any I can recall. He's never been a guy with low int numbers, but they can't run it, don't seem to have hot route chemistry at all and people peel their ears back and come after him. Right now it's easy to smell the blood in the water when he's in the pocket. Same goes for the team I follow who may join them in the 0fer ranks this Sunday.

Normally Eli is good against the blitz. Probably has something to do with the terrible O-line.

The o line wasn't too bad last night though.

I'm interested in seeing how many INTs he ends up with this year...He's at 15 now' date=' on pace for 40. NFL single season record is 42. Hopefully he slows it down a bit.[/quote']

I think he will end up with about 25. He's always been a high INT guy kind of like Favre. Normally though he wouldn't have thrown that 3rd one last night. Eli is usually at his best in the 4th quarter and he hasn't been this year.

At least we know that no matter how many rings Eli wins he'll never be better than Peyton. Not even a discussion anymore.

I don't personally think there was ever a compelling argument that he was a better QB. Now, what IS an interesting question is this: if neither never won another ring, whose career would you rather have?

Eli's. The goal is championships and he has one more than Peyton.

Eli's. The goal is championships and he has one more than Peyton.

And that's the answer I'd expect from the majority, though not a drastic majority. That's the oddity. It's like the Dan Marino conundrum. He's clearly one of the greatest QB's ever, but no ring. Trent Dilfer, Mark Rypien, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler, etc., these guys have a ring.

I think I'd rather have Peyton's and it's an easy answer for me.
