Why do you need someone to be on your tail constantly when you are a pro making millions of dollars? If you need that type of push maybe you should be let go instead of the manager.

And I have no clue what they talked about. It may have been a birthday dinner but they were together.

And obviously they need pushed to do their jobs. If they didn't, Dusty would still be manager.

The players should be ashamed of themselves.

While we are totally on the same page about that here's the deal. Dusty is considered a players manager. He gives them the rope and they didn't play as hard as they should. He loves BP and BP goes out there ripping the ownership and his contract. The organization seemingly wanted Chapman to start and Dusty was totally against it. At some point the lazy attitude and saying you don't need a sense of urgency comes back on the manager.

I thought Walt was against Chapman starting too. That was mentioned a few times on here.

 

I'm with you, if they were 18 year olds. I just don't get it. Does your boss need to motivate you for a big project or meeting? Scapegoat.

Possibly but that seems like it could be easily accomplished with a phone call considering they haven't even hired the guy yet.

I tend to think Bob and Walt aren't the type that would fire Dusty without a very clear gameplan, if not another manager already waiting. :idunno:
