Braves Are Tired of Being Shown Up After Homeruns

Featured Replies

What was he supposed to do? Grab a bat and murder him in cold blood at home plate?

They could just act like they have been there before, not done anything and then Gomez would look like the fool wouldn't he?

Not acted like an idiot would've been a good start...

The batter is the guy who acted like an idiot.

Acting like you've been there before goes out the window when the batter acts like a tool after hitting a homerun.

Nah, I think the best thing is strike Gomez out and then act the way I described above. Maholm has struck out Gomez more times than Gomez has hit HR's off him.

.450 with 2 HRs, 4 RBIs and 2 HBP. Numbers never lie.

That's what happens when you throw at a guy multiple times then he lights you up.

Tell Maholm not to hit him with pitches for no clear reason. Did you watch the history video? Maholm started this feud because he can't get Gomez out. How many times does Gomez have to be hit by Maholm before he can retaliate?

I just don't get how you guys have zero problem with Maholm drilling Gomez multiple times because he can't get him out' date=' but think Gomez was so out of line for reacting the way he did when he hit one to Milwaukee.[/quote']

And were supposed to just take your word for it that Maholm hit him intentionally every time and that if any or all of them were intentional its because he couldn't get him out?

I mean I'm sure you do in fact know it all, but how do you know this information?

So it's okay to act like an idiot after you hit a homer, but not okay to respond to that by acting like an idiot?

Anyone who watches that video DF posted can see it clear as can be. To say otherwise, is simply sticking your head in the sand.

Notice that Maholm didn't jump up and down and scream like an idiot after he hit him.

Gomez didn't act like an idiot. He hit a ball a long way and admired it. Not his fault the Braves didn't like it.

On every pitch you know he intentionally hit him?

I'm sure he didn't want to get suspended. That's what happens when it can be proven the pitcher intentionally threw at a batter. He has to play it off.

Okay.

In your opinion, he didn't act like an idiot.

But Puig did? And hitting Puig was okay?
