I watched them play Friday night in the rain. Hard to tell much on a sloppy field against a not very good Carroll Co. team, but they had a couple of nice players, especially the qb. Who would you move out of the top 10 to put them in?

The Gallatin County loss hurt them as far as rankings go. Their record is 2-3. I think if they had defeated Gallatin County and were sitting 3-2 with their losses being close games at Fairview and against a very solid 2A Walton team, they may have cracked the top 10.

I would put BW at #2

 

After the way they played versus undefeated 5A Franklin County, I am with you. Beechwood was just a couple plays away from getting a nice road win in that one. The Tigers showed they have the defense and speed to play with anyone in 1A. Now they need to get the running game going on offense and they will be in good shape.

I think the poll is dead on for the top 3. I think we all will soon see why Mayfield holds Russellville in such high reguard but it would not hurt my feelings to be wrong. Bw made a nice showing but after listening to the game I think they are still #3 and a distant #3 behind Mf. There is still a long way to go though and a key injury here or there could upset the apple cart. This Mayfield team right now appears to have seperation from the rest of 1A, somthingthey have enjoyed for a very long time, including all of last year

The east is tough to call but getting clearer each week. I think the entire poll is dead on, I may change my mind later but for this moment in time I would rank them the same way

I would say that Bellevue will be in the top 10 before the season is over.

If Beechwood has another really good game like they did versus Franklin County and beats Holmes by 2 TD's or more, they should be #2. Russellville should win big this week so nothing they do can improve their viewpoint.
