September 24, 201312 yr I know it doesn't make sense financially but we have to sign Choo back. Play him in LF and let BHam take CF.
September 24, 201312 yr I know it doesn't make sense financially but we have to sign Choo back. Play him in LF and let BHam take CF. That would be ideal but not very likely. I hope they find a way to get it done but I doubt it. Everyone says he loves it here but I don't see where they come up with another $100M over 5-6 years.

September 24, 201312 yr Probably more likely to sign Arroyo back, correct or no? I would love to have Choo back though.

September 24, 201312 yr I'd say Choo is much more likely than Arroyo. That is my guess as well but seeing as I don't see Choo being very likely, that means both are likely gone.
September 24, 201312 yr Latos is now listed as the starter Wednesday setting him up to start the first post season game or if they tie St Louis he can be held back to start the potential WC game.
September 24, 201312 yr Author Question for the BGP Reds brain-trust....Would you rather they sign Choo to a new deal or lock down Bailey and Latos for the foreseeable future? I'd love to resign Choo, but not so sure it's worth it, if it's at the expense of extensions to those two...

Latos would be a definite yes if it meant Hoo had to go

He has had a fantastic year but he's getting older and his production is sure to drop off. Bailey has improved every year in the league. I'd sign the two pitchers.
