Only the T fans were proclaiming this staff as the greatest in history. My story hasn't changed since day one so your generalization in response to my post wasn't warranted.

 

The overall level of excitement and hyperbole coming from the X faithful, yourself included, made this team sound like the best X squad since 2004. I get the excitement, but I do think you all built up this squad up more than usual. It's okay, it happens. You are definitely among the more grounded of the X fellows since the first actual game no question.

As I said in a previous post I think they might be trying to distance themselves so much from the Glaser era that they are really not playing to the strengths they have. If they just line it up and run it right at you, then why did Glaser even retire?

I agree wholeheartedly. As far as ol Mikey's theory, they may new to implement a new system but not this year. This squad is built to pound the rock.

The crusaders take this game for the third year in a row. When the tiger coaching staff realizes to be successful all they have to do is give the ball to #16 and #45 this team will reach new heights. Midway through the third, walker had over 200 yards on the ground so ill assume he had north of 250. Nagle with a nother crucial mistake at the worst time. All in all a hard fought game by both teams and the fact X had opportunities to set them up for the win is indicative that a lot of bgpers are ignorant.

Yet you're missing the point. You and multiple others gave the tigers no shot of winning, when in actuality they had multiple shots.

But we lost so there's no point in these endless rebuttals. It's either put up or shut up and until this point we haven't put up so any criticism is warranted. Hopefully my tigers have it together in November.

Just saw twitter updates of this game and it sounded like a good game and there were some things that X will have to hang their hats moving forward to fit the make-up of this team. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if St. X is playing a team from KY or a team from GCL, there is no such thing as a moral victory at X. We're not in that business. I saw at one point BJ was 1-6 passing for like 2 yards, don't care if it's raining or not at some point he has to get better or needs to step aside or be moved aside for someone who is going to be effective. Charles put up huge numbers against a great team; he needs to touch the ball as many times as possible, whether it's rushing, receiving, returning kicks, or passing. He is their best player and when he touches the ball good things happen.

 

The defense sounds like they improved, not sure if they actually did or if they benefited from the weather, but either way they at least allowed their team an opportunity to win the game.

 

It does sound like improvement has been made over the last 4 weeks and I believe they will be hitting their stride in late October.

Found out today the backup qb is also on the staff. I don't know if he's paid or not but I believe he's the qb coach, which is quite interesting.

Gotta admit, I thought this game would be a two to four score game in Moeller's favor. I didn't post in the prediction thread though, so I get immunity.

 

The weather may have played a factor, but that may have gone both ways. Honestly, the weather played a factor in every game played tonight. I doubt it decided many outcomes, but it played a factor in every game.

 

X is good. I think a lot of people are still trying to figure out how good Moeller is, which led to my two to four score spread.
