September 17, 201312 yr Surprised Oregon only got 1 first place vote... this year could be the year. I wouldn't want to play them. I think we have said this the past 5 seasons. But I certainly agree.

I am not sure you can judge anything UL has done all season. All three opponents are really bad. We may never know all season how good or bad UL's offense/defense is. I guess the only rationale is that up until this point UK is the most challenging opponent UL has faced. While they were not in danger of losing, they certainly didn't look the part of a top 10 team. To me the offense has too many pieces to completely fall off the map. They have the top rated QB in the nation, the offense will be fine. I was surprised though as to how UK was able to move the ball in the second half. That would be my biggest cause for concern. In all the talk about the schedule, put aside the national championship game talk. My biggest concern would be that my team would not be challenged enough leading in to the bowl game.

True, but the schedule is even worse this season. But UL should be a better team so maybe that cancels out itself. While more talented, Florida was the perfect matchup for UL. They had to have the worst offense to ever make a BCS game. Never been more happy to see them go belly up like they did. Brings a smile to my face today.

Projecting forward are there any durability issues surrounding Bridgewater? I am asking because I do not know? I know he was banged up towards the end of last season and on Saturday came on gingerly on a seemingly harmless play.

I know he was banged up towards the end of last season and on Saturday came on gingerly on a seemingly harmless play. His ankle got rolled on the play, but he played through it, got retaped and seemed fine after that. Last season he played the last two games of the regular season with a much more serious ankle sprain and a broken wrist. Off the top of my head it was the other ankle, but I know he has always played with both taped (and a pack of gum in each sock).

He got DESTROYED on the first or second play from scrimmage in that game. He proceeded to pick them apart the rest of the game. That argument holds no water. He ran and slid of course he's an old school pocket passer which is gonna make him the #1 pick to Jax. He clearly doesn't wanna be hit.
