September 13, 201313 yr IMO Nascar completely botched this whole thing. From every interview I've read and watch, and every person that is somebody in Nascar (past and present) agreed something had to be done!
September 14, 201313 yr Very disappointed with Nascar. I have been going to race tracks since I was 5 years old. That's over 45 years. I have seen people running a single car for a track championship. They have a short points lead and they give a car or two to friends who are good drivers. The hope is that they will race and beat his competition, thus giving the competition less points for that championship. Major Cup teams in the past have even brought extra cars in the past to qualify for the last few races. What Michael Waltrip Racing should have done is wreck Jeff Gordon and had Brian Vickers wreck Ryan Newman when he was getting lapped. Sure it could have hurt someone BUT that would have been racing and sold more tickets. After last year what can Gordon say about getting wrecked out. Ask Clint Bowyer, it cost him a major shot at the championship. Vickers just gets the air of his spoiler as Newman goes around him, BOOM ! They both spin out. Nascar really botched up this whole deal. :facepalm:

September 16, 201312 yr A bunch of crap letting Jeffy Boy in IMO, talk about RIGGED and FIXED. I just quit watching and going now, NASCAR is as BAD AS WWE now.
