Ugly, ugly game. Aiken only has about 20 guys, most of which are freshman and sophomores. Scott could have scored 150 tonight.

About how I figured this one would go.

My guess this is the most points the Eagles have ever scored in a game. They might have had seasons where they didn't score this many. Start to a great season. Good job

Talked for a while with Sowder's mom last night at the Georgetown game. She agrees that this may be Scott's best team ever (or for a long time, at any rate); roster loaded with seniors.

Definitely going to make a Scott game this year; long time since I have watched them and I have not been to the new facilities. Looking forward to seeing both.

Hate to see anyone get 70 put on them, but glad Scott was able to be on the positive side. Keep rolling Eagles.

Scott staff tried to keep it from getting ugly. But when you have a pick 6, a fumble recovered to 8 yd line, a punt snap over the Punter's head about 8 yds, and a punt return it is hard. They took knees to end drives. Aiken's staff is first class and their kids played so hard and and with class.

West Jessamine and Holmes are ok wins, and do show progress as I doubt they win those games in the past (they haven't beaten Holmes in a while). Unfortunately this week and the next 3 weeks are going to be ugly, and won't tell us much, but will help them develop some more depth. September 27th against Cooper will be a big game for this program, maybe the biggest ever. Despite losing to SK, I think Conner is the clear favorite in this district, and it will be a dogfight between Scott, Cooper and South Oldham for the 2 seed.

 

For now though, who cares?? This program and its supporters have waited a LONG time to taste some success. They are set up well for the future with a legitimate feeder program, great facilities and solid coaching.
