Collins is really good!

Collins beating Ballard certainly says a lot about their teams. Interesting night for the top teams in 6A. Trinity stays #1 until they lose to a KY team.

I don't see SK moving ahead of T, X or Scott Co. The better question ... should Scott Co. be #1?

I don't think so. I think right now it's looking more like those 3 up top. I think Trinity stays where they are. X may drop but they lost to probably the best team in the state so that's still not an easy sell.

 

I think Scott County and Trinity next week would be a very entertaining game. We will see if that stays the case when T starts playing KY teams.

There are 18 6A teams in the state with a better record than Trinity.There are 8 others tied with Trinity. Three games into the season, only 5 teams in 6A have a worse record. Regardless of the schedule, I don't see how Trinity can stay at #1.

Because they're playing an SEC schedule and no one else's in 6A comes close. St X does have BG and Moeller but they also lost to BG so ya.

In my mind, Trinity is #1 until a team from the Commonwealth beats them. Scott County and St. X is tough to call as well as other teams. I don't believe that the separation is anything like it's been.

Scott County has an argument for it, Simon Kenton doesn't. Sorry homer, SK has to beat someone relevant to be mentioned at the top. Beating the dregs of NKY doesn't count.

I do believe Trinity deserves all the respect and love of a top team in KY. But it's time to show some appreciation for a Scott County team that looks ready to challenge for a title. A 3-0 Scott County team deserves to be #1 over a 1-2 Trinity.

What would Scott Co. have done against the teams Trinity has played? I would say 0-3.. So no Scott Co. should not be #1...
