Why is it "trashy", etc. that Johnny respond to someone who initially talked trash to him? It was pretty obvious from the video that he was provoked. I don't know why he'd even have that guy on his radar otherwise.

I agree and that's what I said. I just think it's dumb to try to give fuel to the fire of more negative media attention to yourself/team in a negative light.

Agree there. I think that at the end of the day, the biggest reason for his success, the huge chip on his shoulder, will be his greatest undoing.

My problem is the penalty he got when he went out of his way after a score to chirp back at defenders and then just walked past the head coach as he tried to talk to him. That's why he was set down on the bench.
