I'd like some of whatever he's having. NCC is a really good 2A program but Highlands would run them off the field, they are too big, too fast and too deep.

No but I could, I am capable of looking at a game objectively unlike you. The Camels are going to take one of the chin tonight because Highlands will be too big, too fast and too deep. If my memory serves the last time the Camels and Breds played the Camels were too big, too fast and too deep as well.

Mex, I realize Sutkamp(Johnson elem)would be a great addition to the Birds D, but while folks are drooling...I'll say this NCC fans would drool over having Thomas Wrobleski (St. Thomas), Ryan Greene (St. Joe's), and Zach Harris (St. Catherine).

I agree, wrobleski could help NCC at outside lb. Harris would be a nice backup to Moore or sutkamp at rb. Greene could rotate in at WR.

 

Here's some knowledge for ya, a 5-3 defense is designed for the mike lb to make all the tackles. While Thomas is a great kid and a good football player, he's not in sutkamps league. Sutkamp had 22 tackles Friday night playing on half the field. He would have had 50 tackles in that game Saturday for HHS against uc. He would have knocked 4 kids out of the game.

 

By the way, wasn't Derek smith (te) a silver grove kid?

I was at the game Friday and if Jack Sutkamp had 22 tackles I would like to know what was in the coffee that morning for the coaches. Another nice assault on high school kids by you again, it just continues. I think all 3 of the Highlands kids that you mentioned would be a great asset to the Breds at Wide Receiver and/or Defensive End if not both.

So getting back to the crux of this thread, would NCC be within 2 td's in the first few series, quarter, half or at the end of the game? I apologize in advance to my NCC friends, but it just keeps getting old.

Highlands is probably 40 to 50% Catholic and use to be closer to 60% back in the day. Just sayin...

What I saw out of Wrobleski against UC would put him in Jack's league, JMO

 

Yes, Smith was from the Grove, however I believe his mom worked at Highlands. Plus there's no football program at Silver Grove.

Harris and Green were St. Joe's kids and Wrobleski came with them from the Red Devils. Highlands worked it out w/ the Bishop so that it wouldn't be a mortal sin to play for the enemy. They should be good.
