I'm sitting at Hofbrauhaus in my minds eye with a giant beer in front of me with a giant pretzel ham sandwich trying to place everyone in my memory.

 

I just knew that I'd goof and forget someone.

 

Were you on the same side of the table as Birdsfan, nkypete and Content1, or the other side that I was on at the far end chattin' it up with uk#1fan?

 

Lawnboy13 was also on that side too. I think he came a little later, and I think that gametime had split before LB13 had arrived.

 

I also recall there being a couple spouses that had tagged along too.

 

Funny thing is the place was jammed packed that night and I walk in having never seen anyone before, and ask the manager where the BGP group could be found. He says can you describe anyone and I have to explain to him "Well that's a funny thing because I'm here to meet up with a large group of people that I've never met in person before".

 

Was there anyone else there that night besides you that I forgot on my list?

 

Later in the evening I show Birdsfan than not only was I wearing my BGP Hoodie, I was also wearing a BGP T-shirt underneath it where he responds "Wow dude you're really earning your nerd card tonight, aren't you?".

 

First and only time I had the chance to meet him and he had me cracking up with tons of one liners.

I don't recall meeting those guys either but I can't say for sure they weren't there when I was, or if they had already gone. When I arrived the place was crazy loud and rambunctious, and I was trying to process everyone all at once.

Already got one of those to attend, and we also have a scavenger hunt to boot. One year we had to get a picture with a dancer at the Brass "Donkey"....on stage! We got big points for that one. :lol:

Had my bachelor party there in 1977 for my first marriage. Met Trixie Delight up close and personal right next to the stage. She pulled a big ol' lollipop from a hidden place and gave it to me. Special, I tell you, special! Might be why that marriage didn't take.
