August 20, 201313 yr Adam Dempsey, formerly a walk on and a 5th year senior at Cincinnati, was awarded a scholarship this afternoon by coach TT. Here is a link (I think) to the video of the presentation. University of Cincinnati Official Athletic Site Congrats, Adam! You have been rewarded for your hard work and perseverance. Now go out and have a monster year!
August 20, 201313 yr As I understand it not only has Adam earned it the hard way. He has nailed it every step of the way, both on and off of the field. Adam first earned a roster spot as a walk on, then playing time, then a starting position, Graduated in four years, and now has earned a scholarship as he begins his masters program. When Dale Mueller says the success of a football team is measured by the men that the players become down the road, Adam Dempsey is the poster child for what that means.

August 21, 201313 yr Congrats, way to stick with it Adam. He has been over to my house a couple times, very nice polite young man.
August 21, 201313 yr It's hard to believe he's been in college for five years. Seems like yesterday we were talking about his defensive TD.
