Hate to say it, but I could not agree more, SK should be in front of BW and Conner. Of course we will see how it plays out over the next several weeks, but for now I have to agree with you 100%.

Scott should be ranked. However, they have all their history they have to overcome in terms of being recognized. Until they get some wins, most won't believe in them.

 

Wont disagree with you RJS. Scott is going to be WELL improved from the past few Scott teams. I think Scott is well on the right path and should improve greatly over the next few years.

For Scott a soft schedule is ok IMO because of the District they are in. Is Scott going to play in the State semi finals this year, probably not, but the kids and the program need a few wins to get things going.

Really, it's not a bad schedule. Newport and Holy Cross are really the only teams that don't belong, and Holy Cross is only a couple of years removed from a State Title. And because of proximity, it is a game that makes at least a little sense. Replacing Taylor with Aiken is a wash, and Replacing Franklin County with Holy Cross is a downgrade (but one I don't have a problem with). Replacing Brossart with Mason county is a definite step up, and I'd say replacing Leslie County with West Jessamine is step up. So the schedule as a whole is a little tougher (although the district isn't as strong as it was last year, although still tough). They are continuing to move forward and improve. And the group of kids they have at Woodland this year is going to be very, very good, so the future is in place.
