August 1, 201313 yr My brother-in-law called them out the other day. Said the married in 2011, had a kid the next year. He said there weren't enough specifics on the dates, they clearly hooked up and she got pregnant, and they had little Jimmy nine (not necessarily wedded) months later! Exactly what I was thinking.

I'd say your brother in law is a fool to make claims that he knows nothing about.
August 1, 201313 yr I've heard of several people getting really lucky at Christian Mingle. As in meeting your soul mate kinda lucky, or "getting lucky".... :lol2:

August 1, 201313 yr I've heard of several people getting really lucky at Christian Mingle. How many of us, when we saw the thread title and who started thought that's what this thread was going to be about....that Jim went to Christian Mingle and got his groove on! I'll admit I was a little disappointed to see it was about their crappy jingle :lol2:
August 1, 201313 yr If you're asking me if I'm more likely to subscribe to their service because of the adverts, then no. Then again, I'm not one who's easily influenced by advertising. The more that jingle bores itself into my head, the more I want to exact violence upon the singer and writer. "I want to fall in love..."
August 2, 201313 yr Author "I want to fall in love..." Stop. Please stop. My only good defense lately against that jingle is the wholly awful, and equally earwormy Jason Aldean song that talks some bunk about rollin' down a dirt road. Then, of course, I'm left with just as bad a problem, since I can't get that awful schlock out of my skull either. The moral of the story: Bad music drives Jim Schue insane. To the point he shares his misery.
