Reds @ Padres 7/29 - 7/31

Featured Replies

This team needs to add a bat or you can forget about the postseason. Losing record since June 1st. Seems like an average at best team.

Without looking at everything, how many teams truly have a great record against good teams? I would assume most records would be worse than you think. Luckily for the Reds the Cards are also struggling. Pittsburgh is the only team winning right now

Here are some of the contenders records this season vs. teams that currently have a winning record:

Boston 32-26

Tampa Bay 31-28

Pittsburgh 22-20

Detroit 28-20

St. Louis 14-20

Atlanta 20-13

Cincinnati 17-28

The Reds do not own a series lead vs any team that currently has a winning record.

A lot of guys of there that could close at an 85% clip.

Probably a few already on the roster...

So the Reds and Pirates have played 45 and 44 games, respectively, against winning teams...but the Cardinals have only played 34? Considering their in the same division...where in the heck are those 11 extra games?!? I could see a few of them being interleague against the Indians (that Cincy and Pitt might play, but the Cards wouldn't)...but 11?

The biggest difference is the Reds and Pirates have already played each other 13 times while the Cards have played the Reds 9 and the Pirates 6.

I'm not saying that the Reds' lack of run production is the result of the arbitrary and capricious firing of the BGP hitting coach, but I'm not - not saying it either.

I hear you, NKU has done a good job, but this is on the players. They better start hitting or im gonna put some stop pays on some payroll checks this week.

Payroll checks???? LCRW never mentioned anything about payroll checks. Who is our union steward? This a clear violation of my rights as a consumer. It's an infringement on my constitutional rights. It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous. You get me one right handed power hitter on that jury, I'm gonna walk outta there a rich man.

Billings....hmmm gets pretty cold there. How about Dayton? I hear the night-life on the U.D. campus is 2nd to none.

#Reds RHP Jonathan Broxton will start for the #Bats tonight on a rehab assignment and pitch one inning. Ryan Ludwick also in lineup in LF.

The Reds were not the best against teams with winning records last year either were they?

We could add you as a bench coach in Dayton for now and discuss during the off season.
