How much time has lapsed? The family has lived on a truck full of food, have no idea how to beat the walkers, they don't leave the building and nothing is reinforced? Seemed awfull clueless to have made it that long. Sort of like the hippie couple from the other week.

Actually, if you watched the Talking Dead, the actor who plays the Governor explained that he used that name after seeing it spray painted on the barn early in the episode.

Brian is his real name not Phillip.

Additionally, Lilly is the name of the comic book character who ends up killing The Governor outside the prison. She's also featured in the novel The Road To Woodbury. Lilly is also the woman The Governor slept with in Sunday night's episode.
