I have a question. I have just been skimming through the pages.....not reading every post. But....If this rule was going to be in effect, wouldn't all these teams be violating the rule by playing Monday-Thursday? If its been asked then sorry.

No, because most teams dont have freshmen that play varsity.

I dont have that much pull, not yet anyway. But I do know where you can get your 2nd place trophy.....

and I know where you can store it. :thumb:

AT, too many strange things keep happening for me to continue to believe it is an accident. If Rose Hill hadn't gotten wind of what was going on they would have shown up and Jackson, Euton, and Bair would have not been allowed to participate.

You are totally entitled to that opinion. Do you think the FBI brainwashed Mark David Chapman into killing Lennon too??

OK I see. But why wouldn't JV play into this rule? Just seems funny to me.....maybe its just me...

And where would that be good buddy?

Because there are not many 6th graders as good as Kyle Bush.

Not only that but 5th and 6th graders are not usually physically developed to SAFELY play in a competitive game with 9th graders.

Kyle bush is an extremely gifted young person and to compare him to the other 5th and 6th graders in any school(that I have seen) is illogical

I dont exactly know. Rickyp can answer this better than I can.

I have seen Ashlands freshman play and was actually on my way to watch the game. I was very interested to see the game be played. It is really very simple, all the AD's have to do is call each other and work out a rescedule date. RickyP has the refs covered and I'll even donate the net off my basketball goal in front of my house for good measure so that noone can say they missed shots by not having a net on 1 goal.

It would have happened(been inelligible) if they just played J.V. tuesday

Obviously it wasnt well thought out becuase you all couldnt play your big dogs in this fight.

Seems like rose hill made a mental mistake.

Not well thought out on Rose Hill's part and I agree that we made the mistake by not knowing the rule. Ashland obviously knew the rule, they spoke to someone, I know personally about it on Monday. They knew that Rose Hill's entire roster would be ineligable come Thursday. If they wanted to avoid this situation they would have made their courtesy call before 2:30 today.

I agree we should have been aware of the rule. When it was brought to our attention we attempted to get an answer immediately from the KHSAA and made an attempt to contact Blazer to see how they felt about the situation.

I think we both know. He has got a special place for it!!! :D

Are the original nets still going around the Bluegrass in a victory lap?

If you knew about some "conspiracy" Monday why didnt you take the necessary steps to avoid this situation??

The conversation I refered to took place on Monday. Rose Hill was made aware of it this morning and promply called the KHSAA and Paul Blazer High school before 11:00 am.

AT, do you believe deep down that Ashland wanted to play this game with Euton, Jackson, and Bair on the floor? Not the players and coaches but the "others".
